After an injury/illness (pain) we at Anstey Physio Stirixis use our skill and knowledge to diagnose the problem and choose the best suitable methods and techniques to reduce pain and help a patient regain motion, flexibility and strength. Our patients are at the core of everything we do. We discuss and set goals while working closely with you, helping you relearn the basic physical aspects of day-to-day tasks and build up your strength following injury.
Manual therapy is used for the management of NMS (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) conditions such as back pain, shoulder pain, trapped nerves and more. Our manual therapeutic exercises consist of massage therapy, trigger point therapy, active release techniques, stretching and more. Contact us if you have any questions about our manual therapy.
We will suggest and help you with exercise in order to increase your mobility, strengthening muscles and getting joints working again. All exercise is done to your capability, with the aim to getting you comfortably back on your feet.
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) uses low voltage impulses on the surface of your skin near nerves near to the location of the pain or at trigger points. TENS can help relieve pain caused by osteoarthritis, tendinitis, low back pain and more. Ultrasound is commonly used by physiotherapists so we can correctly and accurately diagnose the condition that is causing you pain or hindering your mobility.
